Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully prior to purchasing a ticket to any Perth Festival event, a Gift Certificate, Film Vouchers, or joining a Festival Membership. By making a purchase, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Perth Festival reserves the right to vary the terms of sale at any time. Variations become effective upon posting on the web site. By making a purchase through Perth Festival after the terms and conditions have been varied you agree to be bound by the variation.

Perth Festival tickets are sold or issued subject to the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice (Consumer Code). A copy of the LPA Code can be obtained by visiting Live Performance Australia's websiteor click here for a direct link to the code.

Perth Festival will be implementing all government orders relating to COVID-19.

Should a Perth Festival 2023 event or venue become impacted by a government order mandating the wearing of face masks or any other requirement mandated by the government, it is a condition of entry that you will need to wear a mask within the venue or otherwise comply with that requirement or present evidence of a medical exemption if applicable.

If you are booking tickets to an event, please consider that if it does become impacted by a government order you will need to comply with that direction for entry. Anyone who is required to comply with a government order and does not have a valid exemption will be denied entry.

Changes to Events

In the event of a change in WA Government health advice and subsequent change in venue capacity restrictions, we may need to cancel and refund a portion of purchased tickets. If this occurs, we will cancel the most recently purchased tickets first. Earlier purchases will take precedence. We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

We will endeavour to inform you of any changes to events you have purchased tickets for as soon as possible – please ensure your contact details are current and accurate. If you fail to supply sufficient and appropriate contact information, Perth Festival is not responsible for failure to contact you. For more information about the data we collect, please see our  Privacy Policy.Refer to our Refunds & Exchanges section below for further information.

All ticket purchases are final and shall not be refunded, except as required by law or in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice or as otherwise specified by Perth Festival.

Ticket exchanges are only permitted to another performance of the same event at the same price reserve or higher, strictly subject to availability. Please contact us no later than 2 business days in advance of your original performance date to allow time for processing. If you make a request to exchange tickets with less than 2 business days notice, Perth Festival cannot be held responsible if we are unable to process your request. Exchanges of this nature are subject to a fee of $4 per exchange, in addition to any cost difference(s) if the new tickets are a higher price. If a refund or exchange is made, Perth Festival may retain any fee it has charged to the extent permitted by the law.

Lost or stolen tickets purchased for events that are general admission or unreserved seating will not be replaced. Tickets with a seat allocation in a reserved seating event can be replaced and applicable replacement fees will apply.

Perth Festival events may be subject to age restrictions. Please ensure you check the event page for confirmation of age restrictions. If an event is classed as 18+ you will be asked to present a legal form of identification and may not be permitted entry if you are unable to provide it.

Tickets are sold on behalf of Perth Festival and are subject to the conditions applicable to the event and/or venue where presented.

Please note that Perth Festival reserves the right to exclude latecomers or to admit them only at an appropriate point in the performance at the discretion of venue management.

The right of admission is reserved. It is a condition of entry to events that a search of person or possessions may be required at the time of entry to the venue.

Cameras and recording devices are not permitted at any time unless otherwise specified. A breach of this condition may lead to the confiscation of equipment and removal of the ticket holder from the venue.

Entry is subject to venue capacity, which may be impacted by government mandates. Film vouchers may be converted into tickets in advance of your chosen session by contacting us during business hours via webchat or phone, no later than 12pm on the day of the event for week day sessions, or 12pm the preceding Friday for weekend sessions.  Alternatively, film vouchers can still be redeemed at the gate, though note this is subject to venue capacity. We strongly recommend redeeming film vouchers in advance to avoid missing out. Once a film voucher has been converted into a Lotterywest Films session and ticket(s) have been issued, the voucher expires and cannot be retrieved. If you are unable to attend the screening date for your issued tickets, refer to our exchanges policy below.

Gift certificates and film vouchers are not exchangeable for cash, including any unused value remaining at the end of the 2023 Festival Season.
