‘Pure genius.’

The Australian

'Manifesto is an exuberant hour of dance that left us whooping with joy... breathtaking invention that will stay with me for a long time.' ★★★★★

Arts Hub

A Perth Festival Commission

Nine drummers performing on nine individual drumkits surround nine extraordinary dancers on a grand, elevated set reminiscent of a Busby Berkley production. Starting with a bang, Manifesto becomes more complex and thrilling as it builds towards a wildly loud and powerfully danced conclusion.

With huge, raw sound and electrifying dancing this explosive ‘tattoo to optimism’ creates a rallying cry that is full of energy and exhilaration. Immerse yourself in sound, light and movement as part of the astonishing dance and percussive work from Stephanie Lake Company.

Known for a gutsy, original choreographic style and striking visual aesthetic, Stephanie Lake Company strives to create performances that are affecting and relevant. This latest work, created with long-time collaborator, internationally renowned audio-visual artist and composer Robin Fox and a superb team of designers and performers, is a stunning fusion of huge sound and ferocious dancing.
